October Mindfulness

Take time to stop with Dr Nick Buckley and develop your skills in applying mindfulness practice to everyday life situations. Practice slowing down, breathing, the art of creating a gap in-between the situation and your reaction and reflection too. With ongoing support each month, the aim is to build self-awareness and resilience, in a fast-paced world that sometimes is a bit like a merry-go-round that you can’t hop off! We spend time observing our own thoughts and reactions, and to challenge some of our habits and assumptions. Through the practice and application of both formal and informal Mindfulness we aim to become more motivated to make other changes, or to deal with difficulties in a certain way. Within 2-3 months mindfulness has been shown to significantly help with doing one thing at a time​, being resilient, stepping back, dealing better with other people [and with yourself!]​, and having more fun! So join us at our monthly drop in sessions. For Staff Only.
