Paediatric First Aid is an integral part of our educators’ training and we ensure all new staff to the setting complete their qualification within 6 months of starting with us, and all staff renew their training every 3 years. For parents, although not a legal requirement, we understand that there will be circumstances when your child is unwell or has an accident, where PFA skills are invaluable. We are hosting a Paediatric First Aid training course facilitated by our regular provider, Tigerlily Training, on Saturday 27th January from 09:00-16:00 for any educators due to renew their PFA qualifications. The course is also open to any parents who may wish to attend. We’ve used Tigerlily for a number of years now and find their courses to be really informative and well-run. It’s reassuring to know we have all the necessary up-to-date knowledge to keep children safe and be able to respond effectively in an emergency. We are offering these spaces on a first-come-first-served basis, so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to sign up.
